Red Canyon

A must see while staying with us! Red Canyon is just moments from Bryce Canyon.  Stop by the new visitor center which showcases the Dixie National Forest. If you enjoy hiking or biking you will find a trail that loops from the top to the bottom of the canyon. The trail runs along scenic Hwy. 12, which has recently been named an All-American Road. Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon will stop you in your tracks! Known for having some of the most beautiful scenery throughout the world, it is visited by over 1.5 million people from all around the world. Bryce Canyon is an international hot spot for tourists and photographers alike.

Cedar Breaks National Monument

Cedar Breaks National Monument is like a miniature Bryce Canyon, a spectacular amphitheater stretches out three miles and drops 2,000 feet off the plateau towards the little town of Cedar City. When visiting in the summer you will be intrigued with the plush green forest and brilliant colored wildflowers. Hiking is only allowed along the rim.

Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument

Talk about wide open spaces! The Grand Staircase is stretched out across 1.9 million acres, with archaeological, geological, pale-ontological, and biological resources.

The monument is a "multi-use area" enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and backpacking/camping. You will need a permit for overnight use which are available at offices in Cannonville, Escalante, Boulder, Big Water and Kanab.

Zion National Park

You will discover nature at its best with towering sandstone cliffs, narrow slot canyons, spectacular arches, intermittent waterfalls and gentle springs. Years ago, Zion was inhabited by both Ancestral Puebloans and Paiutes.

 

While exploring the main canyon, you will be let through emerlad pools, wooded valleys, sandstone and open desert. Kolob Canyon is a 14 mile hike (roundtrip) where you will discover the world's largest stone arch.

Calf Creek Falls and Duck Creek

Enjoy viewing native rock art and hike to a peaceful waterfall. Take your time and enjoy the serene surroundings. The falls are 12 miles east of Escalante on Rte 12.
